Has anyone found any pants that do not have large seems that irritate your inner calf after a few hours on spikes? Or does anyone have any advice on other methods to make the spikes more comfortable. I use notch geckos btw.

I'll have to check those out. Thanks!I have the husqvarna vented pants they're really comfortable not sure how long they last compared to others my new pair just ripped a bit near the crotch when I moved wrong which kinda pisses me off. Honestly though from personal experience I think your gaffs are your problem I got some steel geckos free from tree stuff with a large order I was using v some old klines before that, the ergonomics of those geckos are absolutely horrid imo, I think I used them for a month or two just part time sold then and bought some Buckingham ti-lights one of the best moves I ever made.
The carbon Fibre ones might be different then the steel shanks, the steels angle is wrong so the part your foot rests on won't be flat to your foot if they're tightly strapped so you end up climbing on just the edge of your boot, ends up putting all kinds of weird pressure on your feet/legs.I am fond of the Gecko Carbon Fiber, and have not had that problem. I keep mine very tight though, so they can’t move.
Also, I wear Arborwear Ascenders when I climb, which are better than the jeans I used to wear. The denim used to chafe the legs a bit with the little pads on my old Kleins.
Those are pretty cool looking wish they were available now or wesspur had then in another color scheme. These are the most comfortable pants I've used for climbing. I think the chainsaw protective material makes them not irritate the leg. Not cheap though and you get a lot of looks at the grocery store after work. I once got asked if I was on my way to go snowboarding. Lol
