Wednesday job is a decent size Silver Maple.
The k-boom will assist in most or all of the removal.
It's not a real easy tree if I recall correctly, it's been a while since I've seen it.
We've been running about 6 or 7 week schedule.
k-boom will be in the yard on altura mats, big chipper 1890HD on the street with our big chip container (that will be brought with the k-boom truck with the hooklift).
I will be using the 1 inch amsteels as spider legs on much of the tree.
rayco 120 stump grinder to do the stump.
asv 4810 to clean up stump grindings and put down soil.

Okay, just Allmark and Travis showed up on Wednesday to watch the Silver Maple removal. Was nice to meet them. They might do the Friday show and tell as well.
OKAY, tomorrow is the last Show and Tell! FRIDAY, 11/06/09.
Many people acted interested, so let's see who is all talk and no show.

It will last maybe untill about 12noon, or 1 or 2 pm, depending on if we are talking during the set-up and work to visitors.
It's in Aberdeen, MD. About 30 to 40 minutes from Baltimore.

Yes Classic, you obviously can't get the time, when you've got 9 tree removals every day for the next 46 years to try and top you Dad's figures.

Ranger, I'm suprized you didn't come down. you would have liked to have seen these two k-boom working.
that was snow, I believe Westminster Hydraulics put that demo k-boom truck together for Palfinger this past winter, so that's why the snow.
those were the only pictures i had of it.
when i get a video from Rick Yoos, i will edit and post a video very soon.
I don't have even a single still picture of the big truck from that day yet, my camera batteries were dead. But I have some good friends that will be giving me plenty soon.

Very sorry we didnt make it down. Dan caught an early flight out of town, and I was in class. I really wanted to see how these machines are worked, especially from the tree.
