Cool! Thanks for that info. That FET tax ticks me off, they want you to pay on the boom and everything on the truck.
I have to investigate that tax again, there is a certain amount of time, like 6 or 9 months that have to go by before the item added to the truck doesn't have to be FET tax.
Anything new over rated 33,000+ gets the tax I was told.
If a person only needed one drive axle and a floater, they could just order the truck with the one drive axle and add the floater later after the time expired and avoid the FET altogether I believe. My brother came up with that idea.
But I think I need two drive axles, so I'm thinking I might just use the truck as a large chip truck for the 6 or 9 months (especially if it was through the winter months). And add the boom later and avoid the $10,200 tax on the boom.
Alot of thinking, much more to do......
You like the Sterlings I take it?
Oh, the only high speed internet available to me on my road right now would be satelite at $110 per month.(I thought that was a little high, but I probably ought to do it, as time is very valuable to me) No cable on my road, no high speed DSL either. And I've figured it out, if it rains for 20 hours or more, the phone line gets extra bad and the internet is extra slow or non-existant. Verizon guy told me the phone wires on the entire road are in really bad shape.
thanks for all the info, I'm going to look at the pics now, (it's not raining) Later,
