oral ivy

Where's a good place to get oral ivy? I got into several poplars the other day that were covered. What are your tricks and tips to avoid getting it? I use to wear long sleeves and golves and duct tape my shirt to my gloves. All this accomplished was turning my clothes into a sauna and what ever blew into my shirt was trapped and sweat caused it to travel to my nether regions. I've tried pre contact wipes and the after exposure wipes. Technu calamine lotion. Looking for a good way to prevent the rash. I use oral ivy and it seems to lessen the symptons when exposed. What are your suggestions before the season begins for this wicked evil unforgiving plant?

I have never used anything other than Technu Extreme. I keep it in the truck, and whenever I know or think I have been near poison ivy/oak, I scrub down with it as soon as I can. It works every time I use it, and I think the key is A: applying ASAP, and B: Using it (doesn't work well when you run out and forget to get a new tube of it)!

I just did a quick search on Google for "oral ivy" and found lots of places selling it many for under $7 a bottle. I know the last time I bought it I googled and found the best deal. I've got enough to last me a couple more seasons.

It has been a long time since I've gotten the ivy rash and I only take the oral ivy when I schedule an infested job (I make sure I schedule such jobs at least 5 weeks out to let the oral ivy start working)

In the 18 years I've been at this not a single incident of ivy rash on my body.

Can't say for sure if the OI helped but it is nice insurance.

Of course we always use the Technu ivy wash after exposure just to be safe.

I swear posion ivy is the state plant in Arkansas. When I was there I tried OI and found it marginally effective. While I was in AR, I had 2 serious bouts with the stuff, first time in 30 years. I have run into super sensitive people who get the stuff from the oils floating on wind currents.
