I can almost disassemble and reassemble that basic plastic cased model of Homelite in my sleep now! I worked on the LX30 with the same sucky chain oiler. I partially gave up and bypassed the oil rate knob and added a 0.062 dia drilled orifice, threaded 10-32 into the casting at the oil outlet hole at the bar mount. This was somewhat emulating one of the factory setups where they added an in line orifice at the oil pickup. The casting hole/depression was IIRC 0.162 dia and directly receptive of a 10-32 bottoming tap. Your situation could/will be different if you've got the impulse driven diaphragm driven plunger oil pump.
Word - new duckbills. Confirm your air filter situation hasn't crudded up impulse passage ways. Also note the auto-disengage of the throttle linkage as you slide the engine out. Check out Leon's Chainsaws.
