Off subject, what is going on down there. I have not seen allot of news. But I am wandering, how is this affecting every day life? Is every one freaking out? Just is the atmosphere like down there, and what are your worries about the damage of the oil?
 
I'm worried. It's liable to put alot of people out of business and financially hurt many more. And then there is the environmental impact.

They still have not stopped the leak. They are about to put a big steel container over the leak that will allow them to pump the oil into a tanker. It has worked before on shallow wells, but never tried at this depth. Hope it works.
 
Morgan Thompson, the inventor of the Unicender is working on components to get the well under control. Besides the Uni, he runs a tree service and does the machine work...and has a family!

No different. There's something like 900 active offshore oil rigs in the Gulf. Besides that, we import about 60% of our domestically consumed oil. What's being spilled is absolutely nothing compared to how much we use. Shrimp might cost more though. Crawfish too probably.

Google "Gulf oil spill 2020" There is so much news about this thing it will make your head hurt.

What media sources have you been following that aren't doing tons of reporting on it??????
