Ocean Vectran 6mm

I was just browsing the hitch cords on TS and notice no more listing for this. Went to ST, nope. Next was Teufel and again not listed. Hope this isn't someone's favorite.

I got an email from Treufelberger saying they may still have some they can get from U.S. facilities. They wanted to know what diameter and length I wanted. Never said specifically if it is being discontinued.

I noticed this too. I wonder if they are moving towards using the 7mm in it's place?

I thought only the 6mm had a vectran core,but you may be right, I recently saw, maybe a ring prusik, made of 7mm with a vectran core.

The email did ask what diameter I wanted and it was referring to vectran core cords. Maybe they are only going to use it for their spliced or sewn products from now on.

Any updates on 6mm vectran? I just ordered some from Omb warehouse since they said they had it in stock. They just emailed me and said it was extensively backordered or no longer available.

So I'd like to find a source for it or a similar replacement. Any ideas?

A while back I saw it offered at Honey Bros.,NER has also discontinued T-100.

Try contacting Teufleberger and see if they can get you some of the Ocean vectran, they offered to do that for me when I contacted them to see if it was discontinued. There was no reply to that, just the offer.
