OAR ascender/descender

Been here much more than a while
Surveyor posted in the "Descender" thread about his mechanical hitch replacement called the OAR. Subsequently I had the opportunity to test one of his prototypes. Here's my video report on a "4-arm" version of the OAR:

Looks good Moss. Is that your pet monkey running the camera? (How did you get that down the rope shot?)

That devise looks pretty handy. Not sure if I want all that metal sticking out of my abdomen. A little gear intensive for my level.

Trained squirrel with cam strapped to its back.

Surveyor mentioned in an email that latest versions have shorter pull levers. On a "normal" arb harness the levers point to the right so they're not in the way as much out front.

Thanks for the video Moss. I thought you might be interested to see this.

Here is a picture of a "micro" OAR, which is 4" over all. I have ascended and descended a short distance with this OAR, but have not done any weight testing (other than my static weight)
