Molson Export is far superior tasting and sounding plus ships have more cool factor. imo

Molson Ex was my 'go to' beer as a teen. We used to turn the bottle sideways and marvel drunkenly or stonedly at the fact that it was no longer a sailing ship, but an armadillo. You ever notice that?

Ex, Blue, Golden, Black Label, O'Keefe's..... I just remember they all tasted the same after 2 or 3. Thank god for Micro Brews.

You're right, all those Molson beers pretty much taste the same after a few. There really isn't anything special about them. I'll probably lose my cictizenship for saying it though.

Kokanee is one of the classic BC beers. Fond memories of BC camping trips!

Canada talk never strays far from beer does it.

Now that you mention Blue labatt blue. i got a story for you.

My flame at the time went out quite a few times with out me to go drinkin with friends.

So one night I decide it is my turn.

I decide to go the local Legion for a few. So I go up to the bar and there is handful of fairly attractive but large ladies and order what they are drinkin, Labatt Blue.

Well after a dozen or so I black out and wake up in a strange bed and just high tail it.

The next day still drunk/hungover and missin my woman I go back to the Legion and wouldn't you know same women at the bar and I give the Blue another go. And again I black out and wake up in a strange bed with a few of these big gals passed out around me.

Ok, whatever still drunk I make it out there in one piece.

but I am still missin my lady and head back to the legion.

Bartender says to me "get ya Blue" and I says NO No No! Blue makes my cohones hurt!

We'd hit the legion in Aurora after our pick up hockey on Thurs night. Cheap beer and wings but no attractive ladies of any size!


In college we would hit the Gasworks on Yonge for the $2.50 quarts. What a blur!
