I put off On Posting this for respect of the victim. I know her personally.
I have heard stories of this one tree company in the area being dangerous, not paying its employees, leaveing giant brush piles, and stealing wood.
A woman was struck while this man was dropping a White ash butt, she did infact work with him. I dont know the actual dimensions of the log but from what I was told by the firefighters it was big.
She now lies in a comma, missing one arm(had to be amputated), And still has a collasped lung. The doctors say if she is even 1/4 what she used to be it would be a miricle.
Now this company didn't have any insurance AT ALL. Tried to go after his customers home owners insurance, and was still doing business that same week.
And just to tick him off the companies name is
<font color="red">DJ's Tree Service </font>
Its time we finger these companies before more accidents happen. And it gives the legitimate companies a bad rap.
