Re: neo throw bags

y'all are starting to beat a dead horse on the neo bag issue - send em back or don't buy em. not that much more to say.

as for the treemotion, i've been climbing exclusively in mine since itcc hawaii (july) and have zero wear anyplace but the bridge, which is very easily replaceable.

sometimes it's good to take a breath when you're pissed - then maybe we get civil dialogue and productive feedback instead of a rant.

my two cents.

Re: neo throw bags

climbhigh, the saddle is very strong and takes a beating, the strap i am talking about is one that doesnt come in contact at all with the tree, its on the lower set of d rings, on the upside of my thigh, it doesnt touch the tree, the wear is coming from the d ring itself. other than that strap the saddle holds up great and i do a lot of jose canseco slides down limbs (please dont ask)

as far as treemagineers answering my question, they designed it but they dont do the distro, but, i will forward my concerns to them, they are buzzers as well

Re: neo throw bags

Tobe's always been a positive force in the tree climbing world. I don't see any other gear distributors putting out such a public face, advocating for tree climbers and taking the risk to introduce innovative products. For the Big Shot alone Sherrill deserves a lifetime achievement award. When you add it all up how many hours more would climbers be standing around on the ground grumbling after their previous missed throw if the Big shot wasn't around?

I'd rather see Wesspur, Sherrill and every other arborist supplier in business so we have the choice. I hate it when there's only one game in town. By the way Fresco is here: http://www.frescoarborist.com/

The public and successful face is an easy target though I notice Tobey says who he is when he posts. Can't say the same for at least one would-be barroom brawler who seems to be slurring his words when he posts. I'm impressed that it's possible to act drunk with a keyboard.
