Nicks FL prussick

Just got a bungee FL prussik from Nick and thought I'd post some pics. It is very cool, and very elastic! Thanks again Nick for a great product and an expeditious delivery!

I'm having the same problem with loading up pictures so don't feel bad . I think their is something not right on the Buzz end? I've tried every method to get things to load up but with no success. Anybody else having troubles?

ME TOO! I thought it was just my crappy laptop playing up as usual.

#2 worked for me.

Cool pics, arbor101!!! Thanks for posting. Report back after you've climbed on it a while. I've used the prusik on Blaze, but not on Velocity yet. I'm interested to know how it does.

I've had these allowed in competitions in the past (used by myself, and by other climbers) but that doesn't mean that it will always be allowed, of course.

Structurally, it is the same splice, with a locking brummell and an adequate bury. I'm interested to see how this one pans out.

Nice looking footlocking cord. I really need to start practicing for next years comps. I'm coming for ya mark! (I'm my dreams) Have you talked to your neighbor about how topping their trees are bad MMkay?! (I just couldn't help myself)

Jerseygirl- The prusik is just a footlocking prusik, but if you are fl'ing super fast, there is a chance that the loop could get caught up in your knees, feet, etc...The straight eye-eye loop minimizes that a bit, then adding the bungee keeps things even cleaner.

Mostly for comps, I think. I use it day to day and I like it.

Yeah, i got my prussik a few weeks ago and have used it quite a bit... These are my thoughts.

1st- Nick a very great job on the splices! Iam very happy with the way it came out, and the quick delivery. (Also thank you for the bridge, that too has worked out very well)

2nd- You have to try it out low and slow at first. I have tried it on poision ivy and it slipes alittle when you put weight into it. (When tieing a Kleimheist sp.) I have yet to try it with a prussik knot. I use it daily on Tachyon and Velocity with a prussic knot and it is EXTREMELY solid, and no slip. Once weight has been applied it really sinches up, i personally like this.

3rd- The Bungee really makes for speed footlocking a sucess. I also like the way it stays out of your knees. I would reccomend this product.
