it kinda looks like a mickey mouse pulley or a two holed hitch climber,so i guess you could use it in your climbing system

So its basically the CMI mickey mouse pulley with a slightly different shape and alot shinier? Curious how it would fair in use in place of the hitch climber, as far as any issues with hitch performance, such as you get when you go top hole vs. middle hole as your anchor for your working end of line?

Come on Ed... Reg has never come on the Buzz and said "Buy my products, they're the latest and best thing out there." I'm sure that Stein pays him, like Stihl pays Mark C. for his ads. I see nothing wrong with that.
Reg has done a lot for our industry (as has Mark C. and Mark B. if that is who you are referring to), as have others, to help out his fellow tree workers and try to make our jobs easier and safer.

Firstly thank you all for your positive feedback on this product and the other products we have and are developing. All being well this pulley should be released in the UK ready for the APF Exhibition late September and will be available at TCI.
I would like to put the record straight on a few of comment made above. Firstly this product has not been designed by Reg and suggest you get your facts right before refering to someboby and making false accusations. Secondly this product and post was not posted by anyone from the STEIN organisation. Thirdly how do you expect forums to operate without the support of the site sponsors.The large cost involved in sponsoring forums by the companies involved has to be recouped somehow or alternatively by the MEMBERS paying a FEE. I would buy anything with anyones name on it if it had a good use especially when their knowledge and insight was used in the development of the product
I'm waiting for the hollenreich micro brew to come out. The only micro brew to be listed at 40% alcohol by volume.
As for the new stein pulley. It looks nice but my only ideas for application are already dominated by the dmm hitch climber. The stein would be helpful if it fell withing half of the price range but if not I don't see the hitch climber taking a back seat to any pulley for a while

Holly's brew would have a fat earthiness which would leave a leather blob on your palate......reminiscent of a beaten civil war party walking past an 18th Century bog which has just disclosed human remains dating back to the last ice age in Europe, it would be 1.5% alcholol and it would be of this there is no doubt a pisspoor beverage
