New years day FUN CLIMB in Toledo

Calling one and all.

January 1, 2008

11:00 AM at the Big Oak in Woodlands park in Perrysburg Ohio.

Anyone who wants to stop by is welcome, bring food/snacks, etc, whatever.

Anyone who wants directions or GPS location call or e-mail me.

Sure, OK, the park is in a town called Perrysburg Ohio. That's just south of Toledo.

Perrysburg isn't that big, so finding this park is pretty easy. The park in on the corner of 795 and East Boundary Street.

"The Tree" (which is yet to be named) is a majestic oak which Matt Cornell suggests is at least 250 to 300 years old.

For about that long this tree has been standing alone and has developed one pretty substantial spread, so you can really climb around in it and have a good time.

Since this is a public park it has all the usual stuff, play ground, picnic tables and shelter, grills and all that.

Should be a fun time.

I will be there John. See ya then.

Just FYI, Ive got a 2 gallon "Gatorade" jug I'm bringing filled with Grape Gatorade, so Ive got liquid covered. I will talk to my dad, he works for Frito-Lay, and see if he can hook me up with a bunch of chips to bring. Ive got a nice Coleman propane grill if anyone is interested in bringing some burgers or something, brats, hot dogs, etc. If you think of anything else, let me know. later

Now that is the type of excitement I like to see!

IMPORTANT NOTE.

This climb is being moved to TODAY! We are expecting snow tonight and tomorrow, so we are going for it today.

This post is just to notify anyone who isn't on our calling list.

Thanks guys!!!1
