New Urban Tree Care reality show on Nat Geo

Heard about this. I don't have TV. Wish I could see it, even if it surely will piss me off.
Sounds like it's going to focus on the least professional, sensationalist crap.
Just what our profession needs. I guess there isn't enough drama in safe professional tree care.

This is going from bad to worse..
completely staged...
climber falling from bucket's boom was wearing a harness w suspenders, tied into a strap on the boom, no rope... quick cut to him falling with rope, and not wearing suspenders..
log loader takes out old shed. and man cuts branch, falls right next to groundie.. that one was pretty close..

WTF, looks like a cluster-duck :) of epic proportions. Drunks and idiots, great. Ya, we're all like that...like Coatsy off of AX-Men is like all loggers...

Some of these companies are fairly local to me. One is actually from the next town over. I've seen all four preview videos and I'm pretty disappointed.

For anyone who watched Ax Men I think Tree Tech will be like that browing company... by the book no theatrics, etc. They're part of the MMA and ISA I believe and have reputations to maintain. As for the others, no idea why they'd be so willing to be portrayed as so incompetent.

Given the location of the wires. I don't think the car is in the drop zone at all. I think they overdramatize situations and lie a little for entertainment. Seems like they do things just like this on other similar shows (like ax men or gold rush). People are either too ignorant to know or they don't care to evaluate the physics involved. My coworkers have said many times over the past handful of years that what we do for a living would make as good a reality show as any. Now that one is being made, I'm embarrassed and I'd rather it not be seen by anyone I know.
