New Toro Tx 1000 Wide Track

Nice job on the Bucket - I am going to start making a good sized mulch bucket like that.
Avant has the best selection of high capacity buckets on the market right now. butt no universal hitchs
american after market buckets are generally to small for our work, and all these minis can handle
larger capacities. ADVICE if you are buying a machine and a bucket, compare cubic feet.
most the mini mfg dealers will sell you a 4~5 cubic foot capacity when you really should and most likely your/most machines could handle ~15 cubes easy,
picture is a 10 cube mulch bucket (spendy $740 list)

When you are ready to sell that new holland, give me a shot at your Biz
I am an Avant dealer, and they are a great machine,
But I have found an even better machine to compare it too
Id buy one of these buckets. Where can I get one?

Question. Using a skid steer like this, how much damage does it do to a manicured lawn when removing a tree?

That is depends on a bunch of things: operator, softness of ground, if you have to turn, weight your carrying, if you have plywood, type of tread on track, customer, etc.

A good operator on firm ground and mostly straight runs, can almost do no damage...very comparable to many large drags by hand in my opinion.

Add in plywood for turns, or a complete highway if soft.

A video I did once.

The one above is on my personal site, along with other mini skid videos. More video doing tree work are on my business site, and newer ones.

Just was curious more than anything. I have a Kubota that I use with turf tires.

254 and the 254T, Standard 10" tires is 44" wide,
13" wide turf tires make the machine 48",
The Duals on make it 51" wide - outer dual off it is 35" wide

My apologies did not mean to derail this again for pure economic gain. The ever so small connection to the toro 1000 is : experience over the years is guys have dealers throw a bucket in when buying their loader for say 5~600 bucks. (everybody needs a bucket now and then Right?) Trouble is many guys did not put a lot of thought into the bucket the dealer was selling them. So they wound up with a little dirt bucket maybe 5~6 cubic yards - pretty worthless for mulch - firewood snow etc. Have heard the story from muchos tree guys. Now with these more powerful minis toro 1000, vermeer 1000, boxer 950, DW 1530, even the mulch buckets on the market for these minis are pretty wimpy @ + - 10 cubic feet (Arrow $740) all the machines mentioned above can easily handle twice that in mulch, firewood and rakings.

As I may have mentioned before Avant has the best selection in bucket sizes - but look around on the net for a sweet large debris bucket that fits a T1000 - and there just aint anything.

Helped a lot of guys steer clear of the Dealer stock buckets recommending they request high capacity buckets, Just trying to pass on what I thought useful info on Buckets - not bold enough enough to start a whole new "mulch Bucket thread". I decided to make something different and better a better value for all tree guys.
