The Scratswivel worked great chocked on a ring and ring friction saver on the stem of a Norway Spruce that died from a dose of Rhizosphaera. Will have to keep it lubed with graphite or hard anodize it.

The only negative I find with it is the cam life, I'm only getting about two mounths out of a cam. That gets expensive at 40$ a cam. You can get them from Europe for 12$ but then you have to paid a load for shipping.

From what I've heard it sounds like you are using the clutch much more than the brake, but again you are the only one who would know. have you watched Spider jacjery III where Joe Harris explains this? also maybe how clean or dirty your rope is....
Personally I don't feel I have been running mine enough to make a statement such as the above that I repeated from others.
