New Singing Tree Rope Wrench from ISC

Saw the new WR on treestuff with a stiff tether. Any ideas the on the lenght of the tether. After seeing "countryboys" video with his plexi glass tether, it's something I'd like to try. Every time my WR and hitch sets it gets jammed up. I'm sure more time playing with it may fix it that problem.

Kevin I considered that. I've been on his uni coat tails since I got mine. The shoulder bolt is a MAJOR improvement on the uni. The only reason I can think of not to put it on their from the factory is not wanting people to wrap the wrong way on descent and stress the arm to much.

Anyway, wrench + uni solves that problem.

The reason I'm going to use alum is so I can make the tether removable on the uni side. I do occasionally use it for drt and Dave's webbing is permanent I believe.

Know what the weights are, old steel vs new aluminum?

Old one was about 7.5 oz ..... ZK2 is 4.5 oz

Going to add more specs to the product page today.

This is terrible Countryboy I got to check one of the tethers that's being made last weekend by ABR and watched Rich measure it but didn't pay any attention to the specs.

ZK-2 looks supurb, I can see the sheeve giving a beautiful bend radius. That said I ordered mine today, along with the stiff tether

from Luke. From a 747 to a concorde, thanks Bing.

I miss the "Made In Detroit".

There was something pretty awesome about that.
