Nov 2, 2006 #8 N No_Bivy Location Asheville,NC I think the boulders kept it from being logged. Everything else it that area is relatively small.
Nov 2, 2006 #10 moss Been here much more than a while Location Carlisle, Massachusetts, U.S. Great tree and location. Looks like a rock and tree climbers paradise. How was that phat red for hollows and such up in the crown? It looks healthy for a big 'un. I have friends in Asheville, maybe I'll get down there one of these days. -moss

Nov 3, 2006 #11 N No_Bivy Location Asheville,NC Some hollows for sure, in fact one whole side. My buddy just found another near the base of another climbing area, I never thought about looking so close to these crags. Did you live here in ASheville or just have friends here.PM
