200 pounds is not expensive for this harness. The development time alone has been upwards of 2years. The custom made hardware!? These guys have gone beyond 'thinking off the shelf' & have made the first step in addressing many harness construction issues. And given the end user the opportunity to customize the harness to their own individual needs & uses. A long string of prototypes lay in the wake of what may become a new era in harnesses.

Q. What's a harness worth? If it gives you 2years use it's still only costing a dollar a day. I've used harnesses in the past that have cost me that & more in remedial therapy due to their inherent bad design! You have to figure it out for yourself!!

Human beings are not designed to climb and work in trees but we're pretty sharp and can design tools to assist in doing so. Brave lads for taking the next step. My current ride leaves my feet and lower legs numb after only half an hour hanging and working. I'm just over it and just a little fumed about the $380. I spent on it so I'm shifting gears. If I don't like the Treemotion I'll....well I'll...I'll just... Whiz

Hey Kristian, before you toss that harness of yours I would make sure that you tried every possible adjustment available on it. My wife had the same harness as yours and hated it so I sold it for her. Months later she tried on mine (same harness with a few mods) and loved it. Now she wants her old harness back and isn't too psyched about the reality of spending the money all over again. I'm sure you went through all the adjustments, but if not.......

Our sentiments entirely. You won't have to whiz too long, before another level in harness design becomes available.

The harness that attaches the chest ascender is like suspenders. The shoulder loops go down and clip the the rear loop. snugging the suspenders keeps the chest ascender in a good position for ascending.
