NC by chance? 550 on KW?

[QE="Gorman, post: 388686, member: 1046"]Well, what is the gvw and what does the truck weigh? I'm just wondering if you can put 20,000 lbs of wood on that bad boy[/QUOTE]
In Ohio 80k is legal limit. Truck built to be legal with approximately 15k payload. I'll pull a 20 ton tag with bunks and keep truck empty to save driveways, and it doest look overloaded to the puco boys with an empty truck and a trailer w wood

Sorry ddnt look at profile, they are working on yours. Looks like a nice rig when it goes out. I went in w no expectations of getting mine for at least 6 months...which is about what it took. Waiting on a custom saw box and maybe fab another rack for alternamats. Room for 12-14 2x8 above duals under bed now and maybe a new rack btween headache rack and crane for 12-14 3 or 4 x 8s.

Yeah, that's hopefully gonna be mine in a couple of weeks. I knew it would take a while, just hoping it wouldn't and of course it seems like we've had tons of crane work that we've had to do since we've had all of our ducks in a row on this thing. I know they build quality, and I understand that takes time.

Ecoman...did you opt for or hear about the load cell that effer has been saying was going to made available?

More Iinfo plz. Haven't a clue what you are referring to. Sorry still dont know who you are, Wilson Tree maybe? Only maroon trucks I know of. Sorry

Messed around with the crane today. Amazing snagged about a bundle consisting of a 16" 40' elm and two 5" maples at 98' at close to horizontal and ppicked up w still more capacity available. Still to actually takedown a standing tree, tomorrow for sure. Pics for sure.

Nailed it. I almost take that as a complement. A year and a half ago speaking with Art he was telling me that Effer had said that they were working on a load cell set-up for us "tree guys". He had no info when it was to be released.

In Cuyahoga Falls Ohio Smith Truck And Crane. Kboom is new to us, currently run 2 stick booms 21T and 23T but what I did today couldnt be done w either without setting up twice. I can see going bigger w the expense of payload...655 good for now
