Good question. While I love new gear, and like the idea of trying it out, I generally prefer to wait and let someone else fall out of the tree first. Once it has been proven for a little while, I will consider buying one.It certainly looks intriguing but my initial reaction is to wonder when the first recalls will happen?
Thought reg was working with notchthat lowest little nub seems to the genius of it. Is this the reg device?

..."Sure some will fail, but as others prove themselves, MOST OF us climbers are the winners"... (except for those for whom it fails)I know I've made this comment in threads for the new Buckingham, Akimbo, etc, but this new device is more proof we are currently living in a sort of golden age of mechanicals, there are just so many to choose from. Sure some will fail, but as others prove themselves, us climbers are the winners.
I'm also never one to be a first adopter, but I'll certainly keep an eye on this one.
Time will tell, to me they look like stainless. Atleast I hope that’s what I’m seeing.I have concerns over how quick those friction keys will wear, I know the unicender would chew through the keys

Fixed
But otherwise, yeah, agreed...I'll let others play for a bit. In part because too many to choose from - let's see which floats to the top. It's like picking ice cream flavors - I want a scoop of each!
