These are all funny. I'd be embarrassed drving any one of those trucks, let alone taking them to a customers house. I know a few guys who do it the same way. Nice guys and good at what they do. Just would rather have money in there pocket vs. buying newer nicer trucks. to each there own.

For some people, getting the cheapest price on everything is their joie de vie. They would be proud to have this truck in their driveway, showing to the neighbors how "smart" they are in getting a lower price.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to tell who does good work by just looking at the truck. I used to think so, but have been proven wrong too many times to count. Have seen guys with nice, new, big trucks do crappy work, be flakey, and are arrogant to top it off. Then there are those who do beautiful work, are dependable and reasonable and nice. Yet you wonder how their truck even made it to the job, or how they even find anything in it!
Of course, I'm not just talkin' trees here.

I think with GM's trying to sell the Hummer line and all but one each of the luxury SUV plants permanently closed now, the logic behind the imagry people thought projected success and skills is now taken for greedy ignorance. $50,000 butch vehicles are a liability around these parts.
