New CMI Pulley

The quickie fears are strange to me. It's been around for quite some time now, with fewer issues than most gear on the market. I use mine on the regular. The steel vs aluminum does cramp how I use it, because I have seen some serious wear from it on my snaketail eye.

Glad to hear the RollnAnchor is good for peace of mind. I realized this week that I've not thought much about my anchor systems for a while since incorporating it, from a peace of mind standpoint. Right now I'm trying to get more creative with how it's getting used. I'll keep updating as we tinker and hear from other creative minds.

Btw, if you haven't stopped reading already, reach out to CMI if you ever have an idea you want to bring to the field. They are awesome to work with, and are striving to be competitive in the sleeker side of hardware. One thing that will help them get there is a source of sleeker ideas that pushes their capabilities forward.

The RollnAnchor has paved the way for another fun hardware design that I hope to have ready to prototype before spring. It's another step toward the reputation CMI is working to cultivate. They're already known for making durable hardware, but they're ready to make it pretty, too.

I want to get one or two more and mess around with them. I believe I said this before, but I really like it’s rating to choke against the tree, which gets me thinking about what other ways it could be used.

By all means, lol. Seriously, though, we've had fun with multiple in the tree. One as a flint locker style canopy anchor, another as an mrs anchor, both retrieved together even with SRS redirects.
