I love Treebuzz. I don't Login here much and don't post very often but I browse the forum every day. The techniques I have learned here and the knowledge I have gleaned has made me a much better climber has changed what was a just job for me into my hobby and lifestyle.
The constant personal attacks and negative postings especially about the actions of certain people on here really takes away from what could be a true learning environment.
Many of you post about the lack of professionalism shown by those who have the git er done attitude and wear very little PPE. You post about how their actions reflect poorly on us as an industry. I agree with the sentiments expressed but how those sentiments are expressed go to a level that seems far from professional in my eyes.
I think you can call a turd a turd without having a whole bunch of crap come out of your mouth.
Call people out on what you see in their videos or postings. Tell it like it is with a critical eye for all posters and not just the community punching bags. I would just recommend doing it in a way that reflects your professionalism. Your customers can easily look up your postings on here and read what you say as readily as I can. I know I would want my peers and my customers to think I was a level headed, respectful person trying to advance the industry through learning and constructive criticism rather than personal attacks.
Much respect for everyone.
