It’s nothing special but it works great for me. Sure beats breaking my back mulching brush and lifting logs. I’m a sucker for equipment that can do multiple jobs. With the price of equipment at the moment I thought this was the best for me. I mostly climb for other companies and do my own jobs maybe once or twice a week. Branson 2505h, kioti grapple, and woodmaxx 8600. Chipping into a 2020 Big tex 16’ dumper trailer. Its 14 something or other. Pulling it all is my 07 Chevy 2500 gasser.

What do you think of the PTO driven chipper? What would say is your functional max size? Does it feed well for hardwood? Softwood?

I love it! That little thing has four blades on it. Which surprised the heck out of me. For functional size? I can chip every bit of a 6” soft wood and chip just fine. Hardwood, 4” if I’m lucky. Hardwood makes good firewood though. I’ll try and post video of it running with some river birch going through it.
