my split tail - gee i can name my knots - not

Hey Jersey, looks pretty good to me....the only thing I would suggest is to put a stopper knot on the end of the anchor bend on your poison ivy just as you did the fly.

Step up the the VT and forget the blakes hitch!

I don't think the anchor hitch needs a stopper knot and don't use one.

Nice! I would leave more tail sticking out of the Scaffold bend. New rope has a tendency to creep.

Definitely, that's too short. Why not attach your PI to the biner with the same knot? Never liked the anchor for a terminal attachment, too bulky on the biner and the sideways tail gets in the way.

After a knot is tied.dressed and set leaving a tail that about four times the diameter of the rope should be sufficient.

I agree, scaffold hitches for terminations!

Climb on!

I would suggest trying a double eye prussik cord with a micro pulley. Test different fricton hitches: distel, swabish, VT, icicle, the knut. Once you work out which hitch, cord, climbing line, and number of wraps, you will find this to be far superior to the Blake's hitch. I prefer the VT but still switch it up sometimes. Good luck.
