145 psi (1 Mpa) rated solenoid, green laser, 1 inch barrel and 1 1/2 inch barrel. Assorted 3-D printed parts. Three 16850 batteries 12v. Safety switch momentary launch trigger.
This was a winter project. I also make my own plastic throw weights with the 3-D printer. I’m designing a needle shaped BB filled weight. Printing as we speak should be done in four hours.

Now that’s fancy!

Feel like I need a 3D printer, but I already have so much stuff and hobbies that I don’t have enough time for everything.

I probably would have used black zip ties though, lol. Still really impressive

I agree on the black zip ties I just used what I had on the hand but I do plan on changing that in the future. I may even spray paint them to match the body. Always something to fix something to improve. :)

In the bottom left is a 16gr Co2 charger ( charges pressure cylinder to a maximum of 80 PSI before equalized). Then two weights both rifled in body, one (white) for 1” barrel filled with steel BBs the second is for the 1 1/2” barrel made from abs plastic (lego type plastic, very strong as any parent who has stepped on their kids legos can tell you lol) filled with BB’s and concrete. To the far right There is a red laser bore collimator That sits in the bore. I sight the green laser at 50 feet to 1 foot below The red laser dot. Then I am pretty accurate at 50 feet height by placing the green laser on the crotch. The weight will typically fly Above this. But everything has to be adjusted for. How much pressure you are firing with. The weight And it’s shape. The weight and drag of the line. The angle you take the shot at, in other words ‘ballistics’. Gravity can also be a bitch. You can usually sight in after one shot and will be repeatedly accurate after dialling it in.

Definitely winning that competition for sure the rec climber part seals the deal, even as a nearly full time guy I'm pretty happy with the points I can get using my slingshot.

I like to tinker. My wife thinks its a fault. Lol
I do to I just don't really like to tinker with work related stuff at home even though I really like what I do I just don't feel life coming home and doing more of it. It's been a while since I gotten a blade out of the shop but here's my current tinkering project.

Super nice. How long have you been making knives? What’s the handles made from? You better spill the beans or I’ll just end up pestering you with questions incessantly.

I made knives and did some general blacksmithing through high-school, stopped and picked it up by again about 3.5 years ago. The top two have copper core handles the material is made by a guy named Tim Kipps his site is jhuecustoms.com he's a pretty incredible artist as far as resin pouring goes.
The bottom one is stabilized dyed mago if I remember right with red resin by Glen Roach he does some really nice work as well.

I told you I’d pester you with questions. Lol
Here’s a couple. What’s the steel used? How long does it take you to produce one?

@GregManning me to it's one of my favorite general use designs knives with straighter edges generally do better at most utilitarian tasks imo.

@Whisper the top one is 15n20 high carbon steel the bottom 2 are aebl hc stainless, and yes I need to clean up my shop pretty badly, I need to build a secon shed to store stuff in my shop is to small to hold all my tools and work in very easily.

@LBF you can get into blacksmithing really cheap if you just want to start out making little stuff.
