Are you guys modifying the sprinkler valve by drilling a hole into the center of it for attaching the blow gun trigger?

Are you tapping the hole toscrew the fitting into?

Yes, you drill a hole then tap it for 1/4" NPT pipe thread for the blow gun. I got my tap at Ace Hardware. And there are a couple of small holes inside that have to be plugged. The whole mod just takes half an hour at most. There are at least two youTubes on doing it if you do a search there.

If you are using metal in PVC, I don't think it is necessary to actually buy a real tap - the threads of the blowgun should do it themselves.
