Music laws on internet videos.

Hey, I've got a question.

I have a few videos I'd like to edit and get on youtube, hopefully this winter.

It seems there is no care about using copyrighted music.

Is it because there are so many people doing it, it won't be inforced or what?

Or is it actually allowed.

Now, I noticed that a professional video guy like Jerry Beranek will use background music that he has paid for and has the right to use.

But everyone else seems to be using their favorite tunes.
 
They singled out one of mine a couple of weeks ago, here's a copy of the email:

I'm posting videos. This is the videos forum part right?
we are not interferring with anything tree related. Don't like the thread than just skip over it, no? And why did you delete my clip there was nothing dirty about it. Just couple guys out hunting.
