Hey I was just wondering how many of you have gotten your Mom up in the trees? Any pictures? It would be cool to see.
I'll have to work on my Mom.

What a neat idea to plan for next Mother's Day. Celebrate the day and gain media exposure for the bond that can never be broken between mother and child as well as the bond or bark that SHOULD never be broken to allow the trees to continue to live and stall tall above us all.

What if each chapter planned this and it was all across the US? Now THAT'S a Mother's Day story!

My Mom is 78 years old I am sure, NO POSTIVE, that she will no go up a tree, BUT my grandaughter does all the time with me.

Last year a local Treeplace, in mid GA had MANY Moms and daughter in the trees - they did about 28 families. they run a Mom climbs for free as long as her family climbs also.

If key folks from each state or region can plan to have a certain amount of mothers and daughters participate next year, it would be a great consumer and trade story. Of course, Fathers and sons and/or fathers and daughters would also be a great story for June. There are so many great opportunities to help grow awareness about trees as living organisms with much to offer us all.
