(Treeclimber1) on our site did a plug for their company. So everyone knows, the majority of our audience are homeowners. That's why we split our site for consumer and pro and have the two sites.

You can totally post an article under tree care about your company, video, a blog. If you won an award or something, I would post that too. We are tweaking our forum so homeowners can reach out to the proffesionals as well.

This is why we built this, so you can get in front of your audience. Take advantage of it, it's FREE. We are also going to launch our business directory list for $1 a day here in the next couple of weeks. We are bringing the technology to you.

Am I the only one starting to feel spammed by this stuff?

I’m sorry if you are starting to feel like my posts are SPAM. The purpose for SOME of my posts is to giveaway FREE items that relate to the Green Industry like the samples I just gave away or the $350 STIHL Chainsaw we gave away last Fall.

My other posts come purely from a Green Industry media perspective like our coverage of the 2008 ITCC or when some just asked about video footage of Strasser or the post about Ken Six passing away. I actually had footage of Ken and had it posted minutes after the post so people could see a little of whom Ken was.

Unfortunately the truth of the matter of giveaways is that sponsors want to know you have an audience and that you have members that even care about their products. The more members you have, the bigger the prize pool. It’s really that simple.

I am currently working on launching a game on my site in the next couple of weeks where we are going to give away over $3000 in prizes in 30 days. As a member of our site, you will get first crack at those prizes.

So is that SPAM or is it value added for being a member on our site and having fun?

Better yet, if I called you and said that you just won a $2500 mower just because you signed up and were member number 2500, would you complain?

I’m just a goofball that gets on camera and covers events, brings technology to the Green Industry, and gives away Free products. I don’t climb trees. Chisholm tried to get my Fat butt up in a tree and we all saw how funny that was.

So again, I’m sorry if you feel like you’re being Spammed…We’re just trying to have a little fun and spread the word about the Green Industry.

If you want to give away stuff on your site and that's fun for you, go for it.

When I keep seeing ads for another site that doesn't really interest me on a site that does, that seems like spam to me. Even if you give me a mower. I guess I'm the only one.
