Morbark Model 200 Help

So an update: I just started it up again and sat there the whole time paying attention to the gauges. It seems that if I let it sit and cool down it will start back up just fine and then give it 5-10 minutes and the gauges all start going wonky / vibrating until I hold down that murphy switch.

It almost seems as if the switch is working because if it were not why would everything be fine when when I press it? Maybe I don't understand how a murphy switch works. Anyways, the gauges start going wonky / vibrating and then it starts to shut down when the gauges vibrate enough to hit the shut off point but it is due to them vibrating in the first place. It is almost as if nothing is actually wrong with the machine but something is making the pins on the gauges start to vibrate after 5-10 minutes. I've attached a video to make more sense.

In one of the videos the gauges just start go wonky / vibrate after 5 minutes or so of it running.

In the second video, you can see how the machine has now begun to shut down and I can hold the murphy switch in and it will continue to run fine.

Just figured I'd give some more details. Thanks!

What is the coolant temperature reading? Unless I am wrong, it looks like it may be high. A normal diesel operating temp is/should be only 180, not 210 like a gasoline engine.

Alright, replaced murphy switch and even the ignition switch. Still doing the same thing. Will run for about 5 minutes and then gauges start vibrating and will eventually stall out unless I hold in the murphy switch. The switch seems to be bypassing something because if I just hold it in it will continue to run... gauges smooth back out and everything will go back to normal. I am lost.

Still sounds like a heat issue. Just the fact that the machine consistently shuts down after 5-10 minutes of running is a big clue

Either the gauge isn’t showing the correct temp or the switch is malfunctioning
I would think heat as well as that would make the most sense but the temp gauge will rise perfectly up to about 170-180 and then sit there once it's at operating temp so it seems to be working fine. If you start the machine cold you can watch the gauge slowly rise as if everything is working OK on the gauge side of things. Still not ruling it out 100% but seems to be something else.

That's exactly what the switch does, it bypasses the gauges to allow it to run on startup. I know it monitors the engine oil pressure and temp. If the temp seems good, you may have a pressure problem that is telling the switch to shut it down. Can you connect an independent pressure gauge (such as handheld) to the sensor? This would give an accurate reading to determine if it's a oil pressure problem or a pressure gauge problem.

Of course it could also be a wiring issue between the sensor, gauge, and switch. Typically the sensor to gauge is just a hose, so if wiring is the issue it's likely gauge to switch.
