Minnesota Treehouse Project

Wow! Very well done. Looks like you took great care to minimize the impact on the trees. So what's the plan for the increase in circumference, expand the holes as needed?

The tree house turned out to be quite stable. We put it up 18 months ago and she is still standing...or rather hanging. It flexes nicely with the wind. When circumference gets too close for comfort we will just cut away the spots in question. The aspects that need closest inspection are the the lag bolts. Glad this was appreciated!

To attach the chains we used 1/2 inch by 8 inch long galvenized lag bolts. We also used some coated lags (these are in one of the first shots).

This treehouse was built for a client. This would be a cool business to get into if it weren't for the long term liability issues.
