milky Alamo???

I've recently injected some white elm trees with Alamo. I've seen alamo in 2 colors - the usual blue and a sort of light orange. Using arborjet the blue stuff mixes with water just fine but the orange stuff goes all white and almost curdled-looking. It also uptakes much slower.
Any ideas? Is that normal for the orange stuff? Anyone else had similar experience?
Is there a shelf life???
