Micro-Injecting for Oak Wilt? Kermes Scale?

Location

Hello tree buzz, recently I spoke with ArborJet about their product, Propizol. They said I could do a 1:1 ratio of water to chemical. Currently, we use Propiconzole 14.3 and for every 10ml of product we use 1 liter of water. Does anyone do a micro-injection using Propizol?

Also, does anyone know of a treatment for Kermes Scale on Oaks?

Thanks!

I'm sure what ever the label states on Arborjets product will be fine. I'm using Alamo for DED. The uptake on Elms is so fast I don't think it matters how much you have to dilute. With macro injections guys are using 40-80 gallons and getting uptake in a hour or two.
I would think any of the systemic neo nics would be labeled for kermes scale.

We use a dormant oil for the first year with some permethrin mixed in during November/December and inject with Merit (spring or fall). Control has been great but the first year it might be spotty, but the second year of treatment the tree will be clean. Moisture before and after the Merit soil injection is very helpful.

I'd rather reserve drilling trees for must do's or if there are flowering plants around the base of the tree, etc. Soil injection is a great solution and can be combined in routes with other merit injections for other insect pests.
