UH Riggs, I was referring to Daniels buddy not what you posted or even the original post. You're a tough guy and able to suck it up all on your own. That's good. Not everyone can or does.

BTW, I absolutely agree with you on the working habits and equipment condition.

My question remains. Was this a suicide? Do we not know? Should I stop asking? I don't wish to rattle anyone but I do some training and there's a big difference between suicide and an industrial accident. I don't wish to pour salt on it and I hope you guys understand.

My original request to delete this tangent was to protect the survivors who may have to deal with an insurance company. Not to quell discussion about suicide. I'm all for discussing the topic. It's very relevant, but not attached to the specifics here.

The surviving partner had to finish the job next day for crying out loud, just to earn a living.

We should not, in a public forum, bring suicide into question here because that's all an insurance company needs to resist paying the claim... assuming they could even afford insurance.

Insurance companies are in the business of NOT paying claims. Don't give them ammunition. Delete this thread.

This thread needs to be deleted for the same reasons it was deleted at Arboristsite.
