I know the feeling! Bought my unicender then shortly after I learned about the Rope Runner.. dang! But I just ordered my MCRS, so I'm not going to miss out on that one. Maybe you can get it on Boxing Day for cheap

I saw that, still alot of $$ for a "action figure" desktop item. Pretty cool if you have the money to spend though. Last i checked still said 30 available... Who's got one?

The prior post reminded me of a crew that my grandfather hired for line clearance at our old family owned motel in the Catskills (upstate NY). The "boss" showed up looking exactly like what was described above, no PPE, ladders, old equipment/not rated, ducktaped climbers on, beatup pickup truck and all. From what i remember thats what he said to my grandfather while his crew gathered their gear, ladders & proceeded to top all the trees. I was a youngin but i still felt that there would be a good chance of an accident occuring at some point.

The language barrier alone seemed to me like a red flag cause the work to be done couldn't be described properly, but that was the kind of service available at that time, no licensing/insurance etc.

I mean no disrespect against anyone at all, it was just the last words i heard before my father grabbed me and said "lets get out of here before something bad happens". Thank god nothing did except the trees that are still seen over 25 years later.

My apologies if anything else was thought about it
