I only see about three things on the scooter that didn't come from the lumber yard.

Car fires are almost always total losses anyway. The synthetics usually burn more readily than wood.

Actually, in buildings, heavy timber construction often fares quite well in fires because it can char on the outside without losing strength. It's the contents of the structure that cause most of the fire load.
