looking to buy arborwear pants

I would skip the "regular" cotton type ones. I have one pair of those, and one pair of Tech pants which I greatly prefer. Cargo pockets allow a chip free cell phone pocket for easy access and phone longevity. They dry faster. Very durable, too.

I bought some Riggs by Wrangler from a work wear store and am liking them, too, and about $40. I don't expect them to last quite as long as the Tech Pants.

I have one pair of the Arborwear original climbing pants, four pairs of Arborwear tech pants and one pair of the Arborwear stretch pants and love every pair. Mainly for different seasons or different jobs. If your in heat all the time, I would def say Tech pants like most have said. The gusset crotch on all their pants are awesome. Def worth a purchase to at least try them!

I have, I dunno, 10 or so pairs of the Originals, excellent for winter, only thing better is Arborwear bib coveralls... but for Summer, NO COTTON except the bandannas I wear under my helmet.

I don't like fabric in Tech Pants so I wear Lowe or Mountain Hardware equivelents. The high density fiber ones don't tear. I've been amazed at how many encounters mine have survived with felling dogs.

Me too, like twenty pairs. On sale they are $24. They have that extra fabric triangle in the crotch for unrestricted movement. I grew out of caring about name brand stuff after breaking about the tenth pair of $100 sunglasses. Petzl not included.

I like their single front Tech pants (on clearance right now for $30!), and River Tech. All the others are too hot for anything above 85* here in New England. No matter what we have on we will sweat through them, it comes down to which pair/brand dries the fastest.

Durability and customer service cant be beat with Arborwear!

I have found the tech pants to be very durable, but for ultimate comfort the stretch airs or a soft shell comparable in material.

The techs can get hot and sometimes I have restricted movement in the crotch when climbing.

Some durable soft shell stretch pants made for rock climbing give the best results for me. Something like:
