Hey y'all,

Wasn't quite sure where to post this, but ill just stick it here.

I'm looking for a small, heavy duty, triple locking (or double), swivel snap for the end of a dog leash.

You could go to any marina and pick up a boat snap they are pretty heavy duty and alot cheaper than an arborist snap swivel

Is this for tree work, or actually for your dog leash? Because I've had my dogs occasionally twist out of their regular swivel snap and often thought it should be some sort of auto-locker.

It's for a dog leash I'm making for a dog that is an escape artist so a regular boat snap isn't ideal. Looking for some sort of auto locker with triple action opening, but haven't found one anywhere!!
 
I have a Catahoula Leopard Dog escape artist who has mastered most dog leash snaps and the art of chewing through anything that isn't steel... including dyneema. I only tether him when I'm out somewhere with him where I can't keep my eye on him. Cutting firewood, etc.

In conjunction with a stainless steel wire rope 30' tether, this cured him...

Too heavy for a small dog, but if the critter is over 40 lbs. they probably won't be bothered much by it. There's a triple-action locking version, too.
