Looking to make a move out of my current location. I prefer OR, WA or HI. Willing to entertain a move to CO if it's indeed a good fit. Oregon(Portland Area) would be my preference at this point.
Currently running the tree division for a landscape management company. Been in management for the last 5 years or so. Close to 10 years in the business. Certified Arborist, TRAQ, Applicators license, multiple TCIA certs, irrigation certs, Ag. degree, and multiple industry related memberships. Done it all from dragging brush to sales. Sales experience is mostly B2B and inside sales. IPM and sustainable tree care are a major passion and a key factor in finding a new company. I would NOT be a fit in your organization if micromanagement is the norm or expected. I have a dynamic approach to management and a knack for developing retention in employees, I also have no problem disciplining when safety or integrity come into question.
I'd love to find a small to medium sized company focused on quality work and building relationships with clients rather than a strictly production/numbers based organization. Not looking for a glorified climber or foreman position. I love working with the crews but prefer that not be my primary role. I do try and climb on jobs at least two or three times a week. Year round, medical coverage, and PTO are a must. Salary Reqs. depend on location.
Thanks!
