Some random musings from my first trip to New York City:
Contray to what I had always heard New Yorkers are very polite.
New Yorkers seem to treat each other very equally regardless of race.
In Manhatten there are lots of third world nannys pushing white babys around.
Cetral Park is sweet- really cool trees.
It's no wonder they have so many rats- they chuck the garbage right on the sidewalk to get picked up.
I went into the most dank bathroom ever in a place that has been a bar for over a hundred years- I had no idea that urine could permeate tile.
The subway is like a carnival ride.
That's all I could think of right now. I now have to catch up on all the sleep I didn't get last week.
