Lift for crane removals.

Does your Easy Lift 87 have side adjustable?

I'm still a ways away from buying a lift but am thinking the 87 or 100 footer look interesting.
My Lift does not have adjustable sides, but it has a complex profile. The only time I can really feel any movement is at full tower extension (lower boom vertical and fully extended) with the main boom (upper boom) fully extended and horizontal. The closer to vertical the main boom is, the less movement there is.

For tree worker’s sake, I sort of wish that the dealer would more match the lexicon of equipment that we are used to, but that would be a tall order. Tower is Lower and Main is Upper on my machine.

incidentally, the 101-48 is a slammin deal of you need that height. I was told they’ve moved to a liquid cooled diesel plant that’s far less expensive than the air cooled unit on mine. You can get a 101 for only slightly more than what I paid for my 87.

Ahh, good to know.

Looking at the drawbacks of having the 101. Weight on ground at jobsites, into CDL towing territory. (Not sure yet about bounce/sway out at full extension. )

Yeah, not ready to buy today so won't push past covid issues to do so. Gathering bits of information that will also be important to my buying process.
Merle, the day you’ve added up all your information, and you sign the check for your perfect Lift, the next day you’ll thumb through TCI Magazine and see the add for one better. You do know that, right?

:) thanks.

I did a long post about my research for dump trailer build, Avant, chipper build, hook lift on a class five truck build and then was going to end it with recollection of you building the perfect chipper/dumper combo yourself. Decided to delete it.
