Unfortunatly I dont have any pics of the tree itself, but I hope I can descibe this enough for some feedback.
So here is the problem. The tree is a sugar maple, about 20ft tall, and 5"DBH. The majority of the leaves have some leaf scorch on them. One of the major causes of leaf scorch is due to high temps, wind, and low moisture. Well if any of you are in Minnesota you know that we havent had many really warm days, and it rained almost everyday in May and so far June.
The tree is in the backyard, so it is not close to any warm reflective sidewalks or drives, and therefore it also wouldnt be salt damage. There hadnt been any recent excavation of the soil, or any damage to the roots.
My question is what caused the leaf scorch, or may it be something totally different?
Any suggestions would help. If you need some more info I will try to help out as much as I can.
Thanks
