I was a little frustrated yesterday when I was traversing from one tree to the other. The first tree I was climbing in, was with lava and 10mm beeline prusick cord with a Vt. When traversing to another tree off of the tail of the lava, my main vt was locking up. I weigh 195 and use 10mm beeline.
What cord do you guys suggest for my lava rope I weigh 195 and climb with a vt?

Thats Exactly the combo I use and about my weight and I never have and issue.Try different lengths and wrap combos or maybe and xt or Knut.Ive found that using the wrong length or hitch with any cordage can lock up.

I currently useing the eye and eye 10mm bee line, and been using it with the lava for one year. forgot to metion that before. I also have problems tending slack once i've been sitting in the sadle a while. I gues i will do some expirementing with difrent lenghts of cord. should I stick with 10mm or go with 8mm for my lava and ivy lines? I waigh 195. thanks guy

I have some Hrc,Ice,10 mm beeline, bailout, tech cord, ocean poly and couple others and for now I still prefer the 10 mm beeline.I took me a while to find the knot that really work well with it.I was using Ice with it and it worked really good but I prefer the beeline.

Heading out to Pa state college next week, and bring my climbing gear. Can’t wait to try some new things
Thanks guys
