the good the bad and the ugly..
This vid was made for non-pros...

someone needed to make one.... there are a lot of people getting hurt out there...

I ad-libbed my part, so there are some wholes in the "script", but overall, I hope this vid can save some wanna-be's from getting hurt...

I appreciate your feedback... and already starting LOL just wondering what Zimmerman and the Archdruid are gonna say...

BRB...getting my popcorn ready.

Good stuff. Love the handsaw, no mention of pole saws though? Most homeowners underestimate how much a quality pole saw can handle. As for tying in... does a rope through my belt loops count?

18 minute video?

How much do I get paid if I watch the whole durn thing?

being from the ladder capital of the world, you might want to split it into doable segments.. 3 minutes a day for a week...

thanks for making that d. definitely will make some people think twice about tacking the job, just not sure many people who NEED to see it will.

i didn't watch the whole thing, but I did see you misspelled "losing" as "loosing" when referring to one "losing their balance" at 7:24

Thats 21 minutes. Is there a segment you want him to watch twice?

Well in Daniels time....no climber, ladder around the tree. Can take big limbs if doesn't come toward the ladder....3 x 4x 6 = like 48 hours saved

A problem that needed addressing. Good job.

Only thing is... can you boost the audio or perhaps voice-over? On some devices, it was hard to hear.

the commentary by the woman and her kid at 6.26 is priceless,

little kid at the end of that clip, 'ohhhhh, the trees cu...the treeeeeeeees'

.

This very well could be the most boring video of all time.

If I saw you on a ladder working the bottom limbs of that tree, I would be clowning on you for days.

If one of my crews butchered the ends of those bottom limbs like you did, we would have a long talk about not cutting just for the sake of cutting. There is a science to this profession.

All in all, a valiant effort, but I think it fell way short of the mark in terms of entertaining me.

Bring back the smedium Stihl sweatshirt. The sweatshirt added an element of drama that I can't get anywhere else...never knowing if you are just going to explode out of it, ripping it apart at the seams.

tree had 114.5' spread... maybe 60' tall... We don't see many like that around here.. awesome tree. Another boring video coming... Oh Steve why do you punish yourself... It's not too late for therapy..

ps... no worries, I stihl have that sweatshirt!

now that you have demonstrated "how to properly" have you increase your insurance and hired a legal team for the assclown that gets hurt doing what you promoted as safe?
