How practical is it as a bucket truck. I have seen some pictures on here of it being used that way.

There are 3 booms. The first boom is closest to the rotation gear, the 2nd boom is next with hydraulic extensions and the fly jib knuckles off that with hydraulic extensions and then there are pull out manual extensions.It is excellent and very versatile. Definitely want the fly jib. The fly jib makes it easy to stay away from the wires with more than enough clearance. Keeping in mind there is no insulating value at all!!
