Knuckleboom guys

How practical is it as a bucket truck. I have seen some pictures on here of it being used that way.

Stay away from power lines and it should be awesome with a fly jib.

It is excellent and very versatile. Definitely want the fly jib. The fly jib makes it easy to stay away from the wires with more than enough clearance. Keeping in mind there is no insulating value at all!!

There are 3 booms. The first boom is closest to the rotation gear, the 2nd boom is next with hydraulic extensions and the fly jib knuckles off that with hydraulic extensions and then there are pull out manual extensions.

Learning to use our truck and love every bit of it. Sometimes when you can't justify using a crane on a tree our knuckleboom is the key component when it reaches.
