Re: Pictures of Arbor-X K-boom.
hey thanks guys.
brushbandit, i didn't know that, i bet MD is the same or worse, so I'll keep that in mind.
hard to know all the DOT stuff, i think they could find something wrong with every truck if they want to.
i don't mind mentioning the amount. when you here it, you'll think it's too much, but it's really not, costs were really keep down as much as possible. (well, with buying things new.)
2008 7600 Inter truck with CAT c13 and lots of options.
palfinger 29002 k-boom
AOS option
4 outriggers
radio remote, with start truck function, auto rpm func, hydraulic tool function lock, battery charger and spare battery.
palift 40,000lb hooklift. painted red too.
kinshoffer (sp.) grapple
1 new flatbed, made very thin...
2 military heavy duty flatbeds, $2000 each.
palfinger man-basket.
steerable lift axle. certification too.
All this adds to about $280,000.
Getting some custom outriggers pads built now. $400, $500?
Need to have the heavy duty log box with removal chip top built still. On one of the military beds. I'm guessing it'll be $8000 to 13,000. Built right. I'm thinking with a pocket for the grapple.
Need to have the cab protector built. $1000? $1500?
Buy some hydraulic tools... Pole pruner, pole saw...
Going to have the light duty flat bed built into a light chip box. that way I'll have two chip boxes. $2000 to $4000 maybe? Would be nice to have the option to leave one chip box on the ground with the chipper filling it while the truck was dumping the other. On big clearing jobs, that is....
With the hooklift, I can always create more beds or chip boxes, or dumpsters, spray rig?, water tanker, whatever....
