When I was a kid my Dad worked on a program like that for red squirrels. He injected the hormones with a 22 cal short. It saved him from climbing up into the trees to grab the little nasties.

This is the second year of this type of Koala control program.
In certain situations in Australia there is a need to control koala numbers, this is where us climbers come in to it.
Catching koalas is very challenging an rewarding, it is great to work in the bush without chainsaws, chippers etc. Koalas are not as cute and cuddly when you are up close and personal.
